Wayag Island
Wayag Island is one of the many outstanding islands within the Raja Ampat district. It is located Northwest of Waigeo and with over 50 karst islands around Wayag, you could say this part of the archipelago epitomizes Raja Ampat, the reason why it is sometimes called the icon of Raja Ampat. In every tourism promotion about Raja Ampat, you will see a picture of the islands and their surroundings.

The island is known for its beautiful atolls and amazing underwater life. Wayag’s nature also includes narrow channels and inlets, peculiar caves, sandy beaches, series of coves and lagoons, and jagged rocks capped by orchid-festooned jungle. It is another secluded island, with a peaceful environment.

Wayag has hundreds of thickly forested limestone karsts and islands, resulting in sheltered bays with white sand beaches and coral reefs.

Piaynemo
Piaynemo is the most iconic location in Raja Ampat along with Wayag Island. The rows of karst rocks that emerge from the sea are the main attraction of this area in the West Waigeo District of the Islands. Thanks to Piaynemo, Raja Ampat is known throughout the world as one of the most beautiful tourist locations.

On this geosite there are traces of President Joko Widodo who visited in 2015 and early 2016. He also visited this area again in 2017. Previously, the 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono also set foot in this area to inaugurate Sail Raja Ampat in 2014. This shows Piaynemo's popularity as one of the valuable geosites that is Indonesia's wealth.

Kali Biru
Blue river near by Waisai. This natural pools with fresh water is perfect spot to cool you off in the hot days. Natural crystal clear turquoise color water by surrounded limestones gives the name Kali Biru which means blue river in Indonesian language.

Batanta Waterfall
One of the most stunning natural attractions on Batanta Island is its waterfalls. Visitors can take a trek through the jungle to reach these breathtaking waterfalls, which cascade down rocky cliffs into clear pools of water below. The waterfalls are a true natural wonder and offer visitors a refreshing escape from the heat of the jungle.
